- (5/5) – 11/4/2012 – … I’m happy to say that he adores this bottle. In fact, he gets irritated when I take it away even if it’s empty. He breastfeeds and bottle-feeds 50/50 so maybe since this nipple has more of a simulated breast feel he took to it faster…. I didn’t find all the parts to be too many either. - (5/5) – 12/30/2009 – … These are a gift from heaven. No more gas and no more spitting! He latched very easily and is extremely relaxed while eating…. I do know that they recommend not to mix formula directly in the bottle so maybe that is the reason the nipple is collapsing on them. I am using my Dr. Brown bottles to mix/store/heat the formula and then pour it into the Born Free. I have absolutely no complaints about this bottle, except maybe price….
