(4/5) – My husband and I started out with the regular Bjorn, which hurt our backs after about 30 minutes. Then we tried the Bjorn Active, which made a huge improvement in terms of comfort, but we were unable to wear it in warm California weather because it was so big and bulky. Finally Bjorn figured it out – combine the Air and the Active -and you have the Synergy. I just wish it wasn’t so ridiculously expensive…. (read more and buy it at Amazon.com)
(3/5) – Over the course of three children we have had FIVE carriers: Two slings, a Baby Bjorn, a Snugli and the Ergo Baby. The Bjorn is definitely the best looking and very easy to use…. My big complaint is that when the kids get larger (or if you wear it for more than 20 minutes at a time) it really starts to kill your back. My 9 month old isn’t too big for it, in fact she has fun in it, and I mainly bought it for the next one so that I can hold both of them at the same time…. - (3/5) – … The mesh materials don’t make that much difference in the baby’s temperature or comfort, so either the original or original mesh is personal choice…just don’t buy this super-pricey one. Its really no different and gives your back no more significant support than the original. - (5/5) – My wife and I tried a Snugli carrier only to realize that our baby girl would get frustrated that she couldn’t face away from us. We decided to go Bjorn and chose the Synergy for the cool mesh and back support. The Synergy is truly incredible. First of all, it is super easy to use after you read the instructions… I can put my daughter in it by myself and I can lay her down and disconnect her from my body without waking her.
