  • 2.0 out of 5 stars(2/5) – 1/2/2013 – I will give this crib 2 stars for being well made, attractive, doubling well as a playpen and being easy to set up/take down. However, it consistently failed at it’s most basic task… being a comfortable place for my baby to sleep! I think that the main issue is that it is really deep. My 6 month old is big (28 inches and 21 pounds) and I am average height and strength. I found it almost impossible to get him in there without almost dropping him the last quarter inch which would startle him and lead to the need for another pickup and startling put-down…. (read more and buy it at Diapers.com)
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars(4/5) – 12/2/2011 – I have two Baby Bjorn travel cribs for my baby twins and a Phil & Ted travel crib for my older child. Which one is better for air travel? Which one for car travel? There is a difference. BABY BJORN The BabyBjorn travel crib can’t be beat for use at home and for car travel, as it can be set up and disassembled in about 30 seconds…. My son sleeps in the travel crib almost every night and seems comfortable, as the mattress is fairly thick and has no bars underneath like a pack n play would. However, at 33″, I think he’ll outgrow it in a few months as there is not a lot more room lengthwise…. Why not five stars? The Baby Bjorn travelcrib is also lot larger folded up than the Phil & Ted’s. I wouldn’t use it for air travel if you want to minimize the amount of luggage – it’s bigger than a carry-on and may have to be checked…. (read more and buy it at Amazon.com)
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars(3/5) – 12/9/2012 – PROS: Sets up VERY easily and collapses VERY easily. Comes with well fitted carrying bag. Reasonably lightweight (~11 lbs.). Great for grandma’s house. CONS: Does not come with sheets (they are non-standard and expensive). Walls are too tall, much higher than a normal crib…. OTHER THOUGHTS: Fine for car travel (if you have a decent sized car), but if air travel is important to you…. (read more and buy it at Amazon.com)
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars(5/5) – 6/30/2009 – Quite impressively engineered — the instant one-handed set-up of this crib is a great party trick; it literally just pops open like magic…. overall it’s amazing that something this sturdy packs into such a small, light, portable package. We’ve flown with it twice and it fits easily in the overhead bin of a plane (like a rolling suitcase would) perfectly with room to spare…. It’s way better than a pack-n-play because it essentially sits directly on the floor, so there are no awkward bars digging into baby’s back — seems more healthful for sleeping to me. Also, this means there is no weight limit…. A couple of slightly awkward things: you essentially have to do a toe-touch to put baby in and out of this (because mattress is floor-level) so laying a heavier sleeping baby down is a little tough. Also, because the bottom footprint is wider than the top railings (which does make it more stable) you have to be careful not to trip over the legs or stub your toes…. • 5.0 out of 5 stars(5/5) – 5/13/2012 – This is hands down the best travel crib on the market – it’s extremely lightweight, literally takes 10 seconds to open, and about 30 to close, and it is VERY sturdy. It also seems to be excellent quality. We use this all the time as we keep it at my parents house for when our daughter spends time with them. This will be extremely easy to travel with at the airport and will be the only travel crib we will ever buy….  (read more and buy it at Giggle.com)
