Most Helpful Reviews on the ERGObaby Performance Carrier.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars(5/5) – … The bjorn worked out great for the first few months; however, once my son reached 18 pounds and 27 inches it became really cumbersome to carry him out in front…. This is where the Ergo comes in…. I love that the carrier allows for a few different carrying positions. I can carry my son on my hip, my back and my front. The design of the carrier distributes the weight between my waist and my shoulders…. (read more and buy it at Amazon.com)
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars(1/5) – I ordered this newer, lighter, and more compact ERGO thinking it was going to be as good or better than the original ERGObaby carrier…. The material was uncomfortable on my shoulders while wearing a tank top, the design does not fit well to carry your baby in the front, and my baby was not able to put her arms out due to the design of the front being so high up. • 5.0 out of 5 stars(5/5) – I researched all the soft structured baby carriers before choosing the ergobaby. I chose ergobaby b/c it can worn as a front, back, hip carrier for a baby up to 40 pounds in an ergonomically correct position for baby and the baby wearer. I like the performance line (versus the other models of ergobaby carrier) for its lighter weight and more breathable material…. (read more and buy it at Babiesrus.com)
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars(3/5) – … The quality is wonderful…. It is very easy to put the baby on your own. Strap around the waist, put one arm through, tuck baby in, put other arm through, click behind shoulds and you are off!… For the first month it was a LIFE SAVER!However, once he started to grow (he is 3 mos and 13 pounds – big baby) he just didn’t fit. His legs were too short to put out to the side, and too big to leave tucked in…. (read more and buy it at Babiesrus.com)
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars(2/5) – I had tried the standard Ergo and really liked it. I was excited to see this new model, as I thought it would be just as comfy, but lighter weight. WRONG. The straps are so uncomfortable, not only are they not padded at all, but the underside has this netting that is really scratchy on the skin…. (read more and buy it at Diapers.com)
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars(4/5) – This ergo is great for Dad…. The performace DOES have a larger waist band, so when he put this one on, he had a lot of room to get around his waist, where with my orginal, he could barley get the belt around…. (read more and buy it at Diapers.com)
