(5/5) – 7/3/2012 – … We tried Evenflo, Munchkin, BornFree, and Dr. Brown’s glass bottles…. When I saw that they were finally making a glass Avent bottle, I excitedly pre-ordered one for our newest addition…. I’m pleased to say that upon initial inspection it’s everything I hoped it would be…. The nipples on this the new “natural” line have been changed. The inside of the nipple no longer has two lips … and you no longer have to insert the external ring to keep the bottle from leaking (classic polypropylene version only)…. The only reservation I have at all about this bottle is that the measuring marks on the side of the bottle are painted on to the glass…. (3/5) – 8/8/2012 – … Whenever I try to get him to use the new glass bottle and nipple, milk ends up dribbling out of his mouth because he’s not used to how it fits (much wider, flatter base than the classic), and then he’ll start crying and fussing. I’m sure this is a great bottle if you start using it soon after baby is born. (5/5) – 9/11/12 – … These things are so sturdy. They are very thick, and the lip inside is rounded, so no sharp edges while washing…. Glass conducts heat quite a bit better than plastic, and I find that these bottles heat the milk much faster than the plastic ones. These bottles are compatible with the sealing discs, but they are not compatible with the older bottle style plastic screw neck, which the sealing discs will snap into….
