Most Helpful Reviews for Playtex Diaper Genie Elite.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars(3/5) – The Diaper Genie in and of itself isn’t bad, but there’s nothing magical about it either. As a trash can for diapers, it’s OK, but I can only give it three stars for two reasons…. Simply buy 16 gallon tall kitchen bags and insert the top of the bag into the lip of a spent cartridge…. • 5.0 out of 5 stars(5/5) – This product took into consideration the few criticisms of the diaper genie 2 and improved on it. It has a little pedal you step on to open the top lid, you put your diaper in and release. This one I recieved for my son last year and it works great….  Over the past several months I’ve seen the refill prices go up and up so I started using kitchen size trash bags in it and they work great…. • 1.0 out of 5 stars(1/5) – … Every time you open it to add a new diaper the smell is so overwhelming that it lingers in the room for a LONG time. This after just a half day of use. Also, it doesn’t hold very many diapers…. Finally, changing the bag is a totally MANUAL proposition…. (read more and buy it at
