Most Helpful Reviews on the Arm & Hammer Munchkin Diaper Pail.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars(4/5) – I have owned the Diaper Genie II and the Diaper Champ, both of which have some flaws…. This one beats both of them, and comes close to perfect. First, it does seal in the odor… Second, I love the fact that you can open the door in the front and see how full the bag is…. (read more and buy it at Amazon.com)
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars(3/5) – This has a great concept of using baking soda to help eliminate odors from dirty diapers, although the way the bag design is set up I’m not entirely sure that the baking soda is necessary…. I liked that this diaper pail was slimmer and sleeker…. I like that the lid doesn’t easily pop open when little fingers like to play with buttons…. The pail came completely assembled and loaded with a bag, all I had to do was insert the little baking soda cartridge into the top…. As others have mentioned – there is the ‘squish’ factor when disposing of a dirty diaper – you really have to push a diaper down into the bag to get it to go in…. (read more and buy it at Amazon.com)
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars(5/5) – This diaper pail is so easy to use I wish it was around when I had my first child. There is really no odor in the room when even the smelliest of diapers is in the trash. The bags are easy to change…. (read more and buy it at Babiesrus.com)
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars(1/5) – This product was great for about the first month. After that, the lid started to stick and became very difficult to close. I contacted Munchkin and they told me that the baking soda clogs up the plastic gears, and that you need to regularly take apart the pail and wash out the gears with soap and water…. • 4.0 out of 5 stars(4/5) – … The only two things that kept me from giving it 5 stars are that it requires you to buy special bags (put several boxes of refill bags on your registry) and it is difficult to push the diapers through and close the lid when the bag is full…. • 4.0 out of 5 stars(4/5) – This is a great pail for newborns and infants. We have 2, one up and one downstairs. With newborn(small) diapers it works wonderful, but now that my son is 17 months and has “loads” we can only get about 15 diapers in the pail(bags say 25) before the lid is really hard to shut…. • 2.0 out of 5 stars(2/5) – … the lid sounds like it’s breaking when i try to shut it. it keeps out the odor pretty well but i don’t like that i have to push the diapers down(eww) to shut the lid. getting the bags in and out is also a pain. i definitely would not buy this again…. • 1.0 out of 5 stars(1/5) – We had a Diaper Genie for the first year or so, but one of the flap things broke which resulted in us having to push diapers down into the pail. At least it contained smells. Maybe I’m really rough on diaper pails, but the Munchkin one broke in a couple of months (maybe 3?). It also absolutely stinks (even before it broke)…. What the Makers Say

  • The design team at Munchkin has partnered with Arm & Hammer to create the new Arm Hammer(tm) Diaper Pail, designed specifically with mom in mind. Bags are easy to load, and tossing dirty diapers is quick and easy. The self-sealing system tightly seals the bag and locks odors away, while the Arm Hammer baking soda cartridge safely absorbs odors and dispenses natural baking soda each time the lid is closed. A full cartridge lasts over 90 days, and refilling is simple (no need for a separate deodorizer). Each bag holds up to 25 diapers and is easy to snap, seal and toss when full. The pail comes fully assembled and includes 3 Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail Refill Bags. The odor-eliminating power of Arm & Hammer baking soda combined with this clever and easy-to-use design make The Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail by Munchkin the perfect diaper pail system for today’s busy parents and caregivers.
